Create a Degree Plan

Degree Plans are used by the Administrators to create a plan for a specific Major.

  1. Click on Administration in the side menu.
  2. Click on Form Builder located in the side menu below.
  3. Click on Create New Form.

  4. Enter a Name, Description, and Instructions for the form.

  5. Check the Context(s): Degree Plan
  6. Select all that apply: Make the form active, public, and a key assessment.
    1. Select active in order to make the form available for use.
    2. Select public if you want to make the form available to all other users.
    3. Select key assessment if you want to mark the degree plan as a key assessment.
  7. Select the Organization(s) for which this Degree Plan will be available.
  8. Update the name of instance:
    1. Check the box next to the name of the instance.
    2. Click on Rename.
  9. Click on Custom Form sub-tab.
  10. Enter the question entries in the form.

  11. Click Create.

Align a Degree Plan with a Major

Administrators have to align the Degree Plan with a Major before Advisors can use degree plans to track student’s progress through their Majors and to advise students.

  1. Click on Administration in the side menu.
  2. Click on Majors located in the side menu below.
  3. Click on the name of the Major to which you would like to align the Degree Plan.
  4. Check the appropriate Degree Plan.

  5. Click Update.
