You must have an active Juried Assessment Template in order to send a Juried Assessment.
Getting Started
- Click Planning in the side menu.
- From the horizontal menu at the top of your screen, click Assessment Planning.
- Click Juried Assessments.
- Click Send.
Step 1: Select Template
- Select your template from the list of all your active templates.
- Click Next.
Step 2: Specify what will be Assessed
- In this step you will enter information about the student artifact(s)/observation(s) to be assessed. This is dependent on your selection when creating the template:
- Artifact (File Upload): Upload files from your computer that you want to be included in the Juried Assessment
- Observation: Define the observation
- Coursework: Search the Tk20 system for specific coursework to be assessed
- Portfolios: Search the Tk20 system for specific portfolios to be assessed
- Click Next.
Step 3: Assign Jury
- Select jurors from the jury pool for this Juried Assessment.
- You can remove jurors by selecting the checkbox next to their name(s), then click
.
- You can add additional jurors by clicking
and searching for additional users.
- You can remove jurors by selecting the checkbox next to their name(s), then click
- Once you have confirmed your jurors, click Next.
Step 4: Finish and Send
- In this step you will enter information about the Juried Assessment including:
- Assessment Name: Give a title to your assessment. This is the title that will appear in the assessor’s task box. You can add identifiers such as course or term for these instances to differentiate this juried assessment from other instances.
- Send Date/Time: Select the date and time that you would like the assessment to be populated in the assessor’s account.
- Add Reminder: Allows you to send an automatic reminder to the assessor after the assessment has been sent.
- Reminder Message: Allows you to customize the reminder message that will appear in the assessor’s account.
- Click Send.
Step 4: Finish and Send
