Creating a SWOT Analysis
A SWOT Analysis a study undertaken by an organization to identify its internal strengths and weaknesses, as well as its external opportunities and threats. The Strategic Planning functionality provides your organization with a space to store and print the results of these studies.
- Go to the Planning tab in the side menu and then select Strategic Planning in the top horizontal menu. In the drop down menu, click on SWOT Analysis and then Edit/Create.
- Click on the drop down menu and select the organization for which you would like to create a SWOT Analysis.
- Click on the Add New button.

- Enter a title for the SWOT Analysis in the Title text box.
- To add a Strength, Weakness, Opportunity, or Threat, click on a green button with a plus sign.
- To delete a Strength, Weakness, Opportunity, or Threat, click on the red button with a minus sign.
Save: This will save the SWOT Analysis.
Cancel: This will exit the user from the SWOT Analysis without saving
