Connecting Strategic Plan Goals to Outcomes

This article will discuss the two ways to map outcomes to Strategic Goals:

  1. Administrators can map the outcomes from within the Strategic Plan itself

  2. The Plan can be published so that Organization Leads can process the mapping themselves.

Administrator Mapping

As an administrator, there is a centralized mapping experience from within the Strategic Plan. Open the Strategic Plan module and select "Manage Strategic Plan". From there, and Administrator can expand the Goal they want to map to and click Map Outcomes.

From here, an Administrator can map to outcomes at any level of the institution.

Publishing a Plan for Leads to Access

A Strategic Plan can be published to one or multiple Organizations, so that Leads can map to the Strategic Plan.

To publish the Strategic Plan, start by entering the Strategic Plan module and selecting "Manage Strategic Plan".

On the following page, select "Publish" in the top right.*

*Note - if the Plan has already been published, this will say "Published to (#) Organizations". Select this to add more Organizations to the Plan.

The Strategic Vision page showing Goal 1 listed with zero tactics and zero mapped outcomes. Plan Overview tab appears at the top. Publish button highlighted in the upper right corner.

Next, the Administrator can select the names of the organizations or programs they want to publish the Strategic Plan to, selecting Apply when finished.

The Leads will now see the name of the Strategic Plan under the Organization name on their homepage.

After the user clicks the Strategic Plan, they will be able to map their own outcomes.
