Faculty Accomplishments

New Features

View As User Impersonation

Users can now use the View As tool to access supported areas of Faculty Success from another user's perspective without requiring their login credentials. This interactive tool helps users troubleshoot issues, guide faculty through tasks, and review information displayed on the Home and My Profile pages.

The View As permission is included by default for the University Administrator or College Administrator security role, depending on your institution's Faculty Success configuration.

For more information, see Understanding and Using View As.

Enhancements

Review Tasks on the Home Page

Faculty members assigned as reviewers in Reviews, Promotion and Tenure (RPT) can now see their pending review tasks in Tasks & To-Dos on the Home page.

Tasks are grouped by review schedule and display the number of submissions requiring attention and the earliest due date. Reviewers can select a task summary to open a filtered view of their Reviews inbox.

For more information, see Getting Started From the Home Page .

Work Request Column Visibility

Administrators can now view and sort by Work Request ID in the Open and Closed Work Requests tables. This makes it easier to track requests and reference them when communicating with support.

For more information, see Overview of Work Requests.

AI Parsing Interface and Date Refinement

Updates to AI record parsing include a side-by-side record comparison layout, improved recognition of month and year date formats, and a loading indicator displayed while records are being processed.

For more information, see Entering Activities with AI Parsing.

Reviews, Promotion, and Tenure

New Features

Schedule Management for Unit Level Administrators

Unit Level Administrators can now create, duplicate, edit, confirm, and manage review schedules for their assigned units without assistance from a Workflow Administrator.

For more information, see Assigning Unit Level Administrator Permissions.

Enhancements

Individual Scope for Review Steps and Role Groups

Administrators can now assign different reviewers or review committees to individual candidates within the same review step. This provides greater flexibility when candidates require different review assignments.

For more information, see What is a Role Group?

Safari Browser Prior Submissions Fix

Resolved an unexpected behavior in Safari that prevented selections in the Prior Submissions field from saving properly upon review form submission.

Faculty Career Pathways

Enhancements

Change Career Paths Without Losing Timeline History

Administrators can now move faculty members between career tracks, such as Clinical and Tenure, while preserving existing timeline events and historical data.

Insert Base Events to Keep Timelines Accurate

Administrators can now add non-recurring base events to a faculty member's timeline from the Event Library. These events can include custom dates, notes, and file attachments to help correct timeline synchronization issues.

Selective Impact for Bulk Imported Events

When importing Result or Exception Events using a CSV file, administrators can now specify which future timeline events should be advanced or delayed, rather than applying the changes to all subsequent events.

Result Events Import for Earlier Career Paths

Fixed an issue that caused errors when importing result events associated with base events dated before the start of a career path.

Corrected Date Range Validation on Carried-Over Events

When editing a carried-over event after a retroactive career path change, the system now applies the date validation rules from the event's original career path and displays an explanatory message.

Fully Editable Duplicated Career Pathway Events

Administrators can now edit all fields when duplicating an auxiliary event in the Event Library, including the event type, title, and rules.

Export CSV from Faculty Composition Drilldown

Administrators can now export the faculty list displayed in the Faculty Composition Insights drilldown as a CSV file. The export includes demographic information, rank, hire date, and career path details.
