Faculty Success Release Notes for July 30th, 2026

This release brings enhanced candidate filtering to Reviews, Promotion, and Tenure, along with a new tool to help committees track review consensus and additional management options for the Schedules Summary table.

Reviews, Promotion, and Tenure

New Features

New Committee Consensus Summary

The Committee Consensus Summary tab shown among the tabs on an active Committee Step submission.

Committee chairs and members can now access a new Consensus Summary to support their review of candidate submissions in Faculty Success. This feature provides a high-level view of committee member responses to rating scale and dropdown fields, so reviewers and administrators no longer need to manually tally individual forms to see where a committee agrees or diverges.

The update introduces three related views:

  • New View Submission Interface: Available to all reviewers accessing a submission from Inbox > Tasks. Each step of the submission now renders as its own expandable card, and reviewers can view prior steps without leaving the submission.
  • New Inbox Summary View: Available to the reviewer when they are the Committee Chair. From Inbox > Tasks, the Chair can open a summary view listing every qualifying submission, showing process name, step, candidate, department, due date, date received, and a consensus status such as "4 of 5 reviewed" alongside a High, Medium, or Low indicator.
  • New Committee Consensus Summary tab: Appears on an active Committee Step and shows the form-level consensus percentage, the number of committee members who have submitted responses, and, for each qualifying field, the top response and its consensus percentage.

Note: The Consensus Summary tab only appears when the active Committee Step's member form includes at least one rating scale or dropdown field, and at least one committee member has published a response. Committee Member access to the tab also depends on whether Member Visibility is enabled for the step; the Committee Chair can view the tab once they've published their own response, regardless of that setting. Once a submission moves off the Committee Step, the tab and its data are no longer available to anyone.

Consensus percentage is calculated as the number of committee members who selected the most common ("top") response for a field, divided by the total number of collected responses for that field. Fields with no collected responses are excluded from the calculation. The form-level consensus percentage shown in the summary is an aggregate across all qualifying fields on the form.

Enhancements

Enhanced Candidate Selection Filters for Career Pathways Attributes

Administrators managing workflow schedules in Faculty Success can now filter and select candidates using attributes from their Career Pathways, such as Career Path and Base Event Title. This makes it easier to identify eligible faculty members for a specific review cycle without relying on manual tracking, helping ensure the right faculty are included in the appropriate workflow schedule.

Filtering and Sorting Added to the Schedules Summary Table

Administrators and Unit Level Administrators (ULAs) can now filter and sort the Schedules table by Schedule Name and Launch Date. These management tools make it easier to locate specific schedules and organize your view, so you can oversee review cycles and manage administrative tasks more efficiently.
