Introducing AI-powered data entry with AI Parsing

We are excited to announce a new way to save time and streamline your activity data entry. On July 20, 2026, we are officially releasing our AI-powered CV Import capability — also known as AI Parsing — for general availability within the Faculty Accomplishments module of Faculty Success.

Your CV, automated. Your time, reclaimed.

Faculty members often spend hours manually inputting their professional histories. With this new optional capability, you can use an AI assistant to transform a static document into a dynamic profile in seconds. Simply upload your CV or paste a list of citations, and the AI instantly parses the information to your institution’s specific data structure.

Here is why you should consider adding AI Parsing to your instance of Faculty Success:

  • Fast: It saves 90 percent of the time compared to manual entry. It is so fast, you can complete your import easily in one sitting.
  • Intelligent: Built-in duplicate detection ensures your profile remains clean and accurate.
  • Nimble: You can review and adjust records before saving to add impact details, align your work with your institution’s strategic goals, or add other information about your activity that isn’t usually in a citation or CV.
  • Secure: Watermark uses enterprise-grade safeguards; your data is never used to train AI models.
  • Optional: AI Parsing is entirely free of charge and completely optional for both institutions and individual faculty members. The AI is not running in the background. It only runs when the faculty member says so, and only for this specific purpose — to parse and add the activities provided.

Note: AI Parsing is available in English, for institutions in the United States.

Requirements and next steps

Because this capability leverages AI, your institution will need to review and agree to some new terms related to its use before it can be enabled.

Additionally, to use AI Parsing, you must be using the new faculty experience. Learn more about the new faculty experience in Understanding the Differences Between the Current and New Faculty Experience.
