The Faculty Career Pathways enhancements include setting effective and expiration dates for Base Events to control when requirements appear on faculty timelines, reflecting policy changes without multiple career path versions. Additionally, administrators can now preview faculty timelines directly within the Career Path builder without saving and exiting, available for timelines with at least one event.

Effective and Expiration Dates on Base Events
Administrators can set effective and expiration dates for Base Events within a career path. This configuration controls when specific requirements or milestones appear on faculty timelines, allowing institutions to reflect policy changes over time without creating multiple versions of a career path. Existing Base Events are not impacted by this change.

Preview Career Path
Administrators can now preview a generated faculty timeline directly from within the Career Path builder. Previously, previewing required saving and exiting the builder.
The preview option is available when the career path has at least one event on the timeline (Draft or Published).
