Overview
Curriculum Strategy Catalog supports importing learning outcomes to be displayed or contained within the catalog content. The following article provides details on preparing the report for the initial import of program outcomes as well as how to maintain them within the catalog using the Curriculum Management forms or manual edits.
Preparing the Import File
The import supports .csv UTF-8. A header row should indicate the contents of each column, as each heading is manually mapped to its corresponding field during the import process. Only programs that already exist in your Curriculum Strategy Catalog should be included in the outcomes file.

Maintaining Outcomes in the Catalog
Once outcomes are imported to the catalog, they can be maintained (edited, added, removed) either by manual catalog edits or by using the Program forms within the Curriculum Management System.
If the Curriculum Management System is being used, the forms must have the Outcomes field that incorporates the Outcome templates (folder and outcome). This is the recommended way to include outcomes, although it is possible to include them within the catalog using a Rich Text Editor field instead of the Outcomes templates.
Example of an unpopulated and populated outcomes field as it appears on the Curriculum Management form:
Please note, if the field is included on the form, it will populate any outcomes already existing within the selected catalog item:
When manually editing outcomes that have been uploaded into the catalog, there is the option to insert the Outcomes Folder template within a course item, and then to insert the Outcomes template within the folder. These show up as subitems of the course item and can be edited as needed:
