Assessment Projects by Watermark
What does the new Assessment Projects product do for me?
Assessment Projects supports administrators’ assessment practices by providing features to configure an assessment project, identify eligible evaluators, timebox the assessment cycle, and utilize both common and specialized rubrics to assess student learning across multiple courses, departments, and programs.
How is it different from Outcomes Assessment Projects?
Assessment Projects is built on the foundation of Student Learning & Licensure and System Administration. It shares common structures and user experiences with the Student Learning & Licensure product, as well as relying on System Administration for the self-service creation of core data such as people, courses, and enrollments. Assessment Projects can be used stand alone or alongside the other features of SL&L.
Here is a breakdown of some of the differences between Outcomes Assessment Projects (OAP) and Assessment Projects:
Assessment Projects - Benefits by Feature
Features with an asterisk (*) indicate a tradeoff between OAP and AP. These AP features are intentionally different from OAP and were developed to deliver enhanced flexibility, value and improved user experience.
Will this be an additional Cost?
There is no price difference when moving from OAP to Assessment Projects. There are costs associated with some of our training options for Assessment Projects.
Eligibility Requirements:
Moving to Assessment Projects is currently open to clients that do not have both Planning & Self-Study AND Student Learning & Licensure.
If you do have Student Learning & Licensure, you must be on System Administration, so a migration to System Administration is required if you are not currently using System Administration to manage core data in SL&L.
You must be on a contract for Assessment Projects. Before getting started moving forward with training, please reach out to your Client Success Manager to initiate moving over to Assessment Projects.
