Admin Setup Instructions
1. Log into a LiveText administrator account
2. Click Admin
3. Click LTI 1.3 on the right side of the page
4. Select Blackboard from the LMS dropdown and enter the URL for your Blackboard environment in the LMS URL field
5. In the Public Keyset URL field, enter: https://developer.blackboard.com/api/v1/management/applications/4f2dca35-3b7f-49f1-96f7-8d71530045cf/jwks.json
6. In the Access Token URL field, enter: https://developer.blackboard.com/api/v1/gateway/oauth2/jwttoken
7. In the Authentication URL field, enter:
https://developer.blackboard.com/api/v1/gateway/oidcauth
8. In the Client ID field, enter:

9. In the Issuer field, enter:
How to get the Deployment ID
10. Log into your Blackboard administrator account
11. Navigate to the Administrator Tools area and click on LTI Tool Providers
12. Click Register LTI 1.3/Advantage Tool
13. Enter the Client ID from step 8
14. On the next screen, copy the Deployment ID and paste it in the Deployment ID field in LiveText
15. Click the Save button in LiveText
16. In Blackboard, make the following updates:
- Select Approved for the Tool Status
- Select all three checkboxes for User Fields to Send
- Select Yes for Allow grade service access
- Select Yes for Allow Membership Service Access
- Enter a Label name of your choice
- Enter a unique identifier in the Handle field
- Select Course content tool for the Type
- Check the box for Allows grading
- Enter the Tool Provider/Target Link URI: https://www.livetext.com/misk5/c1/lti/launch
21. Click Submit
22. Click the LTI Tool Providers button
23. Click Manage Global Properties
24. Verify that Allow configured tool providers to post grades is enabled, and click the Submit button
