Curriculum Strategy Release Notes September 30, 2026

User Role Report

A new feature has been added to the Unified Navigation dashboard that is accessible immediately by all catalog and Curriculum Management administrators. This new feature is to be used to receive a CSV of all user profiles within the system and their assigned roles/access.

Found in the Tools section of Curriculum Strategy, you can now access the list of all users for your institution along with their associated roles for auditing purposes or general information.

Select the new User Role Report and the list will automatically generate, with options to filter and download by Username, Full Name or Role assigned.

If a user has more than role assigned, each role be listed individually.

This tool should help you quickly determine whether a user has the correct roles and help administrators quickly audit users to better identify which users or roles need to be removed or added.

Administrators at your institution will have access to this tool upon release. To assign access to this tool for a user who is not an administrator, that user can have the new “domain\admin user role report” role assigned to their profile.

Updates to the Word Export: Two Feature Improvements

External Link in Exported Word Documents

Previously, when content from the system is exported to Word, the hyperlinks have been stripped from the document. This process now functions so the link will be included as part of the export. This feature will also work to update all URLs that are not built to work with Word, thus ensuring all links work as expected.

There are no necessary changes or setups that need to be made to your Word Export settings to apply this feature. The changes are automatic with this release.

Word Export Style Settings Prior to Export

Administrators or users with access to the Print Settings will now see a Word Export Settings section on the item within the content tree. From this item, users can assign the font, font-size and color to the headings and paragraph text of the Word document. If these fields are left blank, the default settings will continue to be applied as they are now.

This is how the item appears within the Settings folder in the Content Tree of the Catalog system:

The font options are available from a drop down, which lists common fonts available to all Word users.

The font size fields need to be entered with a point value (ie: 11pts).

The font color field accepts 6-digit HEX codes, without the # (ie: 1F3864).

The instructions are also listed with each field heading.

Once set, the Word export will use these settings for each export.

Please note: in the past, Curriculum Strategy offered custom Word templates. If your institution is using a custom Word template, these new fields will not work. If you’d prefer to use this new Word Export option, please reach out to support to switch from your custom template to this option.
