Accessibility Updates for Curriculum Management Proposals

In an effort to stay WCAG compliant, the Curriculum Management system has made updates to ensure the product is usable when the screen size is 320px or zoomed in to 400%. To understand more about this standard, please see: https://aaardvarkaccessibility.com/wcag-plain-english/1-4-10-reflow/

To accommodate those changes, any users accessing the product at a screen size of 320px or zoomed in to 400%, will see these changes:

 

The left-hand panel with workflow and proposal status details is now collapsed, and can be accessed from the workflow icon in the upper right:

If a proposal has been locked and edits have been made, those changes can be saved by selecting the save icon in the upper right as well.

 

When opened, the Proposal Status and Workflow details will open in a panel to the right. The same options are available through this panel.

Export Outcomes Tool for Course and Program Outcomes

With this new tool, users can export course and program outcomes from a selected catalog. The outcomes can be exported in CSV or JSON format. For anyone using Curriculum Strategy and Planning and Self Study, the downloaded CSV will be formatted for importing into Planning and Self Study.

To access the tool, from Unified Navigation, select the Tools option in the left-hand navigation:

When the tool is launched, you’ll be able to select the catalog year, catalog, outcomes type, and file format.

Once “Export” is selected, the file will download in the format selected.

Please note that this tool will extract outcomes built using the Outcomes template. If outcomes are stored in your system but are not using the Outcomes template, for example in a field on the course template, please contact Support for help organizing your outcomes data.
