Fix for outdated information in account activation email
With this release, outdated information in the student account activation email has been corrected.
Previously, a line in the account activation email directed the user to click their "name, in the upper right corner of the screen", and select "the Help Center link located in the dropdown menu" to access the Help Center.
This has now been corrected and directs the user to use "the help center icon in the upper right corner of the screen" to access the Help Center.
Masked sensitive integration set up details for enhanced security
With this release, sensitive integration set up details like keys, secrets, client ids, and deployment ids have been masked to enhance application security and prevent unauthorized access. This applies to the following integration set ups:
- LMS Integration set up: The Client ID and Deployment ID values have been masked and only the last 4 characters of the values are displayed on the user interface when an LMS integration set up is being edited. - Canvas Timeline Integration set up: The Canvas Client ID and Canvas Deployment ID values have been masked and only the last 4 characters of the values are displayed on the user interface when the Canvas Timeline integration set up is being edited.
- Turnitin set up: The Turnitin API Key value has been masked and only the last 4 characters of the value is displayed on the user interface when the Turnitin set up is being edited. Further details can be found in Configuring the Turnitin Integration with SL&L.
- Data Import set up in Classic Admin: The OAuth Key and OAuth Secret values have been masked and only the last 4 characters of the values are displayed on the user interface when the Data Import set up is being edited. Further details can be found in API Imports within SL&L.
