Ability to manage in app product and marketing/promotional notifications from Watermark
Institution Administrators and end users in Student Learning & Licensure can now manage the availability of in app product and marketing/promotional notifications from Watermark.
This update allows administrators to set account-level opt-outs for non-operational categories like product updates and marketing, while individual users can also control their personal settings to minimize message fatigue.
Institution level settings can be accessed and updated from Settings > Configuration Settings > System Preferences > Product & Marketing Notifications.
If not disabled at the Institution level, users can manage their own preferences from the Profile area > Account Settings.
By providing clear control over these communications, the system ensures that users only receive the information they find most relevant while still guaranteeing the delivery of critical operational alerts.
