CES Administrators and Project Administrators can assign Targeted Surveys to multiple courses or organizational levels at once, making the process of assigning multiple Targeted Surveys faster and easier to reach specific student groups.
Bulk Assignment of Targeted Surveys
- The feature is accessed on the Survey tab of a Project, where Targeted Surveys are normally assigned. There is now a Data Import button under the Targeted Surveys section.
Downloadable Template for Bulk Import and User-Friendly Import Experience
- A ready-to-use template is available to help ensure your data is formatted correctly before uploading, reducing errors and setup time. The template is available to download from the user interface by selecting Data Import and either Import to Hierarchy Levels or Import to Courses and then clicking "download the file template" on the next screen.
- The new import page guides you through the process, with clear options for importing to courses or hierarchy levels.
Improved Error Handling and Validation
- The system checks your uploaded file for correct format, required information, and file size, and provides clear messages if anything needs to be fixed.
- Only valid data is processed, ensuring that assignments are accurate and reliable.
- The interface also includes helpful features like a “Done” button to exit the process, and a summary of how many files have been imported.
Instant Notifications
- Once your bulk assignment is complete, you’ll receive both an on-screen notification and an email with all the key details, so you always know the status of your import.
- The email includes helpful information such as the survey name, number of assignments, and who performed the action. Note: The email notification is only sent if a project has already been deployed.
Display of Assigned Surveys
- After a successful import, newly assigned surveys are immediately visible in the system, so you can quickly confirm your updates. Larger files will take longer to process so you may need to refresh your screen to see the updates.
