The Dashboard within Course Evaluations & Surveys allows the CES Administrator to customize what CES Administrators, Administrators, Instructors and Teaching Assistants see when they login to the system. The Dashboard is comprised of different Widgets that you can add, move, and customize. Dashboards for CES Administrators, Administrators, and Instructors all begin with default widgets and widget settings.

Custom Questions Monitor
- This widget will show a list of projects where the custom questions feature has been enabled for course evaluation projects. If enabled on the dashboard for an CES Administrator and/or Administrator, users can quickly see the percentage of users who have added custom questions overall.
- The widget itself allows you to click directly into a given project and access the additional details Custom Questions Monitoring has to offer, including:
- Percentage of users who have added custom questions overall and within the last 24 hours.
- User information of Administrators or Instructors who have added custom question surveys.
- Courses that have custom question surveys.
- Previewing the custom question surveys.
- Additional settings for the Custom Questions Monitor Widget can be found by clicking on the gear icon at the top right of the widget. Here you can do the following:
- Title: Customize the title of this widget.
- Theme: Select from one of the preset color themes.
- Allow View All Option: This option creates a View All link which allows the user to view their complete list for this area.
- Allow Minimize Option: Allows the user to collapse/expand the widget.
- Custom Questions Status: Choose to display projects where the custom questions feature is open and/or closed.
- Max Rows: Choose the max number of rows to display in the widget.
- Scroll Result: Allows the user to scroll vertically through the results.

Manage Courses
- Choose to allow instructors and/or administrators to view the projects in which the Manage Courses feature has been enabled. The access start and access end dates for the user to manage their courses is also display for each project displayed in the widget.
- Additional settings for the Manage Courses widget can be found by clicking on the gear icon at the top right of the widget. Here you can do the following:
- Title: Customize the title of this widget.
- Theme: Select from one of the preset color themes.
- Allow Minimize Option: Allows the user to collapse/expand the widget.
- Max Rows: Choose the max number of rows to display in the widget.
- Choose to allow instructors and/or administrators to view the projects in which the Manage Courses feature has been enabled. The access start and access end dates for the user to manage their courses is also display for each project displayed in the widget.

Manage Courses Monitor
- If you allow Administrators or Instructors to manage course and user information in a course evaluation project, this widget will show the CES Administrator a list of projects where the feature has been enabled and a last access date. An CES Administrator, can also click into a given project and access additional monitoring features which come with this functionality.

My Active Surveys
- If you survey your CES Administrators, Administrators, Instructors or Teaching Assistants, this widget is useful in displaying how many open surveys these users have to complete, and allows the user to click the button to go directly to these surveys.

- Title: Customize the title of this widget.
- Theme: Select from one of the preset color themes.
- Allow View All Option: This option creates a View All link which allows the user to view their complete list for this area.

- If you survey your CES Administrators, Administrators, Instructors or Teaching Assistants, this widget is useful in displaying how many open surveys these users have to complete, and allows the user to click the button to go directly to these surveys.

Notifications
- Displays any and all notifications that the system may generate in response to an action in the system that needs to be processed or queued, as well as the real-time progress of data imports, and enrollment refreshes. Data Import and Enrollment Refresh notifications available for the CES Administrator view only.
- Additional settings for the Notifications widget can be found by clicking on the gear icon at the top right of the widget. Here you can do the following:
- Title: Customize the title of this widget.
- Theme: Select from one of the preset color themes.
- Allow View All Option: This option creates a View All link which allows the user to view their complete list for this area.
- Allow Minimize Option: Allows the user to collapse/expand the widget.
- Displays any and all notifications that the system may generate in response to an action in the system that needs to be processed or queued, as well as the real-time progress of data imports, and enrollment refreshes. - Lists the selected number of most recent Projects with the Project dates and status of the Project. Users can click on the Project name and go directly to the Project.

Project Summary
- This widget is designed to be one of the main widgets for EK Administrators, as it displays various operational metrics about a Project, and allows the user to quickly navigate to specific sections of a project. Operational metrics displayed in this widget include: Overall Respondents, Overall Enrollments, Overall Response Rate, Last 24 Hour Respondents, Last 24 Hour Enrollments, Last 24 Hour Response Percent of Total, Sparkline Chart of daily responses, # of Courses, and # of Instructor enrollments. Under the “Quick Links” feature, users can directly go to specific sections of the project. Also, Enrollments, Courses, and Instructors is clickable, and will take you to this specific information.

- Available to CES Administrators and Administrators, this widget displays the percentage of Administrators and Instructors who have accessed reporting for a Project. Like other widgets, you can drill into further details by clicking the project name.
- Additional settings for the Results Access Monitor widget can be found by clicking on the gear icon at the top right of the widget. Here you can do the following:
- Title: Customize the title of this widget.
- Theme: Select from one of the preset color themes.
- Allow View All Option: This option creates a View All link which allows the user to view their complete list for this area.
- Allow Minimize Option: Allows the user to collapse/expand the widget.
- Max Rows: Choose the max number of rows to display in the widget.
- Scroll Result: Allows the user to scroll vertically through the results.
- Available to CES Administrators and Administrators, this widget displays the percentage of Administrators and Instructors who have accessed reporting for a Project. Like other widgets, you can drill into further details by clicking the project name.

Results Feedback
- Displays the number of Results Feedback posts by project that have been sent to the user. Users can click on the Project name and go directly to Results Feedback posts for the project, and then review posts and reply to posts. The Results Feedback feature is designed to facilitate two-way communication about survey results between an instructor and the administrator overseeing their area.
- Additional settings for the Results Feedback widget can be found by clicking on the gear icon at the top right of the widget. Here you can do the following:
- Title: Customize the title of this widget.
- Theme: Select from one of the preset color themes.
- Allow View All Option: This option creates a View All link which allows the user to view their complete list for this area.
- Allow Minimize Option: Allows the user to collapse/expand the widget.
- Max Rows: Choose the max number of rows to display in the widget.
- Displays the number of Results Feedback posts by project that have been sent to the user. Users can click on the Project name and go directly to Results Feedback posts for the project, and then review posts and reply to posts. The Results Feedback feature is designed to facilitate two-way communication about survey results between an instructor and the administrator overseeing their area.

Search
- Allows CES Administrators to search for a specific course or user to find which project(s) they exist in, and then the user can navigate to the specific section of the project.

- Allow Minimize Option: Allows the user to collapse/expand the widget.
- Allows CES Administrators to search for a specific course or user to find which project(s) they exist in, and then the user can navigate to the specific section of the project.

Select Role
- Allows users enrolled in Course Evaluations & Surveys with multiple user roles to toggle between their various user role views of the system. This functionality works the same as what displays in the top navigation bar if a user has multiple roles.
- Additional settings for the Select Role widget can be found by clicking on the gear icon at the top right of the widget. Here you can do the following:
- Title: Customize the title of this widget.
- Theme: Select from one of the preset color themes.
- Allow Minimize Option: Allows the user to collapse/expand the widget.
- Allows users enrolled in Course Evaluations & Surveys with multiple user roles to toggle between their various user role views of the system. This functionality works the same as what displays in the top navigation bar if a user has multiple roles.
