Typo correction in activity history area

The typo in the message “No activities have been aligned to this template.” has been corrected with this release. Previously, the word “activities” was misspelled as “activties” in the message.

Issue with generating/downloading Extracts

An issue was reported with users being unable to generate/download extracts. Upon investigation, the cause of the issue was identified as being the extract generation being prevented in certain time zones. The issue has now been fixed and users can now generate and download extracts successfully.

Capture more details about placement observations

With this release, we have introduced three new components for the activity templates using the Internship, Internship observational, and Internship form workflows.

1. Text Field: Adds a small text field which allows up to 50 characters to be recorded by the observer.
2. Date Selection: Allow the observer to capture the date of the observation
3. Duration: Allow the observer to capture the designated duration in hh: mm format.
4. When a user extracts the Observational Assessment Data Extract, Form Submission Data Extract, and Form Report the “Text Field”, “Date Selection”, and “Duration” component data will be included in the output under the “Component Feedback” column.

Remove section start date restriction for sending placement related mentor notifications

In New Placement Management we have removed the section start date restriction related to sending notifications to mentors when a placement has been published. With this change if notifications are enabled in Communication Management then when placements are switched to “Published” the following will occur:

1. Mentor notification will be sent, regardless of the section start date or term starts.
2. Student notification will be sent, regardless of the section start date or term starts.
3. No changes to activity visibility.
4. Admin should be able to “Notify Mentor”, regardless of section start date.

Usability improvements for greater clarity regarding the activity statuses

With this release, students and faculty members will be easily able to differentiate activity submissions that have not yet been started from those for which a revision has been requested.

For any activities that have been submitted and for which a revision has been requested will display:

• The Submission Status as Awaiting Revision on the assessor, instructor, and administrator side.
  • Additionally, the following text will be displayed under the Assessment Status column:
    • Main Text: Revision Requested
    • Sub Text: <Date> at <HH:MM am/pm> by <First Name> <Last Name> (for example: Oct 28, 2024 at 05:00 PM by Osaka Smith)
