Ability to Share Reports

Note: Instructors will not be able to see the shared reports for now. This will be released via a future enhancement.

Admin and node admin users can now view all of their reports under the "My Reports" section.

With this release, users can share their reports with other users. To do this, locate the new "Share Report" option by accessing the overflow menu displayed for the created reports.

Clicking the “Share Report” button will open a half-flyout. From here, select the nodes and programs with which you wish to share the report.

You can also view the selected nodes by checking the “View Selected Only” option. Click the “Share” button to share the reports with the selected nodes.

A “SHARED” tag will be displayed next to reports that have been shared with other nodes.

Viewing Shared Reports

The shared report will now be available under the “Organization Reports” section.

A banner will appear upon opening the report, informing users that they can access the data for which they have permission. Users will not see the “Save As” option until the report is copied.

To edit, click “Copy to My Reports.” Copying the same report multiple times will append Copy of [name of report] followed by a counter.

If a user does not have access to the data, an empty state view will be displayed with an explanatory text.

Managing Reports

Once the report is copied, you can make edits to the report from the “My Reports” section. Users associated with a child node may also share reports with their parent node.

To delete a report, access the “Delete” option from the overflow menu in "My Reports."

Warning: Selecting the Delete action will remove the report from both the My Reports section and the Organization Reports section.
