Fixing LTI v1.1 Broken links with Blackbaord after LTI v1.3 upgrade

  1. Login to Blackboard with your admin account and Go to Administrator Panel > LTI Tool Providers > Manage Placements <your server domain>

  2. Edit the placements (you can identify LTI  v1.1 placements by checking campustoolshighered/ltiAction.do? in their URL)

  3. Update the Target Link URI with the v1.3 Launch URL (You can check the new launch URL In Tk20 under Administration > LTI Tool Provider Setup > LTI Advantage (v1.3) tab under Integration Information section.)

  4. Provide custom parameter value by copying the string after ‘?’ character of target Link URI used in LTI v1.1
