Automated Messages/Notes are being sent from old staff user accounts

Reported Issue

Users are seeing automated messages/notes sent from users that are no longer working at the institution.


Most likely, the reason for this is that there are messages/notes set up as Scheduled Messages on the user's account.

To fix this, the scheduled messages should be removed/deactivated.

How to stop Scheduled Messages from sending automated messages/notes:

  1. Go to People Administration
  2. Search for the user that is sending messages and is no longer working at the institution
  3. Impersonate the user
  4. Select their Messages icon from the top right
  5. Go to Scheduled Messages
  6. Search for the message/note in question and deactivate the scheduled message
