Permission Error when Closing an Alert

Issue

When trying to close an open alert, an error messge appears with the following details: "You do not have permission to view this alert".

Resolution

Most likely, the reason for this error is that the alert reason is currently set to Inactive.

If that is the case, then in order to be able to enter alerts with the alert reason or close any open alerts with this alert reason, you will need to reactivate the alert in Staff Initiated Alert Administration -> Edit -> Alert Reasons.

After reactivating the alert reason and saving the change , closing the alert should be allowed.
