Send Message Using Templates

Faculty and staff can manage emails within the Student Success & Engagement Platform by creating and using message templates for mass or repeated communications. Templates are created by composing a message and clicking "Save as Template," then naming it for future use. Previously saved templates can be quickly selected from a drop-down menu to streamline messaging.

Faculty and staff have the ability to create message templates to save time when sending mass emails to groups of students. If a particular message needs to be sent to a large group or individual students multiple times throughout a year, templates allows for customized emails to be created and stored.

If a template has already been created, faculty and staff can quickly choose from a previously created templates in a drop down menu provided in the template search box.

To create a template, a message needs to be created. Once complete, a template can be created by simply clicking on the “Save as Template” button that appears at the bottom of the message screen.

After clicking the Save as Template button users will be asked to provide a name for the template. When clicking Save, this title will then appear in the drop-down menu for future use when sending messages.
