Enhance the Programs of Study page on your catalog website by opting in to our new, user-friendly layout.
The page is now searchable, filterable, and organized by department. Rather than a list of links, the new UI highlights the degree type and groups the departments, making it easier to sort through the long list of programs at your institution.
You can opt in to the new design from the Catalog item in the content tree of the Content Editor for each year's catalog. To locate the checkbox, select the catalog cover item and scroll down on the right hand side - the checkboxes are located below the Content field:
If you make the selection and save the Catalog page, you can preview the changes on the Programs of Study page before publishing any changes.
The page will organize automatically by the Title field of the Division templates used to organize the degrees. You can make changes to how these are organized if you would like to see different results on the new Programs of Study page. Additionally, to further sort degrees by Degree Type, ensure that the Degree Type is included in at least the Display Name field at the end of the degree title. If there are Degree Types that are not already included in the drop down, please submit a support request for the new type to be added. Most are already included, and only Degree Types used will be present in your Degree Type drop down.
If you don’t see any changes, please contact support. Your institution may be using a custom Programs of Study page layout or not already using this type of automatic layout so the update won't be applied automatically. However, we can easily make the switch over to the new layout for you when requested.
