Changing Your Name, Password, Email Address. or Security Question in LiveText

You can change your password, e-mail address, security question, or other account information, by clicking My Account located on the top right of the home page.

Note: If you would like to change your last name, please contact support@watermarkinsights.com to make this request. Be sure to include the current name your account was created with, your school, the email address on your account, and what your last name should be changed to.  Since accounts are non-transferrable, we request documentation if you'd like to change your first name.

To update your account information:

1. Log into your LiveText by Watermark account at http://www.livetext.com with your username and password.

2. Click My Account in the top right corner of the screen.  From this page, you can change your account information.

3. Click Edit across from the account information that you’d like to change.

4. Once you’ve made your changes, click Save.

 

To change your password:


1. Log into your LiveText account at http://www.livetext.com with your current username and password.
2. Click My Account in the top right corner of the screen. 
3. Click the Change Password link.
4. Enter the appropriate passwords into the fields requesting your old password and new password.
5. Click Save.

 

To change your security question:

1. Log into your LiveText account at http://www.livetext.com with your username and password.

2. Click My Account in the top right corner of the screen. 

3. Click the link that follows the words Security question.

4. Select a question in the drop down menu, then enter an appropriate answer and hint in the fields provided. 

Note: You should select a question that will be difficult for anyone else to guess the answer to.  The answer field should contain the answer to that question, but keep in mind that you may be asked this question in the future for security purposes and will need to provide the exact answer that you enter here.  The hint field should contain a hint that reminds you what the answer to your security question is without making this answer obvious to anyone else.

5. Click Save.

 

To change your student or faculty ID:

1. Log into your LiveText by Watermark account at http://www.livetext.com with your username and password.

2. Click My Account in the top right corner of the screen. 

3. Click Edit across from School Information.

4. Enter your student or faculty ID number in the field labeled School ID.

5. Click Save.

 

To change your school email address:

1. Log into your LiveText by Watermark account at http://www.livetext.com with your username and password.

2. Click My Account in the top right corner of the screen. 

3. Click Edit across from School Information.

4. Enter your current e-mail address in the field labeled School Email Address.

5. Click Save.
