Ability to copy Applications

Application coordinators can now create copies of an application, including evaluation elements, by selecting “copy application” in the overflow menu of an application card.

The 'Application for Computers' page, with a dropdown menu open showing options to Edit Settings, Close Now, Copy URL, and Copy Application.

Clicking the “Copy Application” button duplicates the application and navigates the user to the distribution page, appending "Copy" to the title. Users can update or edit information, including the term value, and either save the changes or distribute the application. The copy will include everything except archived evaluation elements and can be saved or immediately distributed.

Fix for blank page issue when accessing Time Logs area for a course section

It was reported that a faculty member was directed to a blank page when accessing the Time Logs area of a course section.

Upon investigation, it was identified that the blank page issue is experienced if a user is both an instructor and a supervisor in a course section, but doesn’t have any time logs to review as a supervisor because of one of the following reasons:

  • The user is not aligned with any student placements as a supervisor.
  • None of the students for whom the user is aligned as a supervisor have submitted any time logs for review.

Given the default view is set to the supervisor’s view but the user has no time logs to review as a supervisor, the user gets directed to the No time logs to review screen the first time. However, in this case the user doesn’t have any indicator to clearly identify this and switch to the instructor view for time logs.

With this release the issue has now been resolved as follows:

A user who is both an instructor and a supervisor for a course section will always have the option to switch between the supervisor and instructor views for time logs. This way the user has a clear indication of whether they have accessed the supervisor view of the instructor view.
