Student Learning & Licensure Release Notes for October 16, 2025

Set Default Value for Role and Additional Assessor when creating activities

After this release, the following changes will simplify the user experience by reducing unnecessary dropdown selections when a single option is available.

  1. Role Field: The Role field will now default to "Student." If a section has only one available role, it will display as static text instead of a dropdown menu.
  2. Additional Assessor Field: The Additional Assessor field will now default to the first value in the list. If only one assessor is available for a section, their name will be displayed as static text instead of a dropdown menu.

Save External Applications as Draft

Non-SLL users can now save a draft of an external application and return to finish it later. Users saving an application will enter a valid email address and receive a URL to access the application later. For security, users will need to enter a one-time security code when they access the application.

Assessment Projects: Ability to reassign artifact evaluations to project admins

With this release Assessment Project administrators will be able to reassign artifact from one evaluator to another.

This can be done in two ways:

  • Bulk auto reassign: The project admin can choose to randomly reassign all pending artifact evaluations from one evaluator to other eligible evaluators.
  • Manual reassignment: The project admin can choose to reassign specific pending artifact evaluations from an evaluator to evaluators of their choice.

Assessment Projects: Improved evaluator management and ability to designate evaluators as discrepancy only

With this release Assessment Project administrators will have:

  • A new dedicated area in Assessment Projects to manage evaluators and their settings. The new area called Evaluator Settings will include:
    • An updated workflow to add evaluators to an assessment project and manage their alignment with outcomes.
    • A list of the evaluators added to the assessment project along with their outcome alignment.
    • The ability to edit the assessment project specific details for individual evaluators.
  • The ability to designate an added evaluator as a “Discrepancy Only” evaluator.
    • An evaluator designated as a “Discrepancy Only” evaluator will only be assigned discrepancy evaluations.

NOTE: An evaluator cannot be designated as or removed as a “Discrepancy Only” evaluator after an assessment project has been opened for evaluations.

Assessment Projects: Ability to set a maximum evaluation cap for evaluators

With this release Assessment Project administrators will be able to manage workloads by setting a maximum evaluation cap for evaluators. The cap limits the number of evaluations that get automatically assigned to an evaluator.

NOTE: Setting an evaluation cap for evaluators is optional and the evaluation cap can be modified even after a project has been opened for evaluations. The maximum evaluation field can be left blank for evaluators who do not need to be assigned an evaluation cap.

Pagination on Application Landing Page

This implementation will display pagination after 10 applications, improving performance for Program Applications.
