This release includes accessibility improvements for keyboard users, a new Tools & Services section on the Faculty Home page for easier access to Help Center guides, and enhancements to Career Pathways for cleaner data and improved label clarity.
Faculty Success
Enhancements
Record Editor Accessibility
Accessibility for pinned buttons on form screens is improved by providing a tab-accessible link to jump a user to the primary action button for their screen. Whether this is the "Actions" menu from a task, "Save" from primary views, or "Apply" from nested views, keyboard users now have a streamlined way to access those buttons after completing or editing a form.
Faculty Home
Enhancements
Tools & Services Box
The Home page for the new Faculty Experience now includes a Tools & Services box, which contains a button linking to Getting Started From the Home Page. Tools & Services will be added to more pages as additional functionality is introduced.
Career Pathways
Enhancements
Title Field Handling
Administrators will now see error messages if they try to create or edit a career path or event title that matches an existing title, regardless of case (for example, “Option A” and “OPTION A” will be considered duplicates). The system also automatically trims any spaces at the beginning or end of titles and replaces multiple internal spaces with a single space - ensuring titles are stored and displayed consistently.
This update prevents duplicate titles and keeps the data clean and consistent, saving time and reducing confusion when managing faculty assignments and events.
Label Updates
To improve clarity and consistency, a key field label within the Career Pathways module is updated.
What's New:
- The field previously labeled "RPT Connection" or "Reviews, Promotion, & Tenure Workflow Connection" is now named "Type".
- This change is reflected in all areas where this field appears, including the Base Event creation/editing forms, event cards, and list views within the "Manage Event Types" workspace.
This update ensures a more intuitive and consistent user experience when managing career path events.
