Enhancements
New Faculty Experience
This refreshed user experience for Watermark Faculty Success introduces a reimagined faculty information system based on faculty feedback. The previous interface presented navigational challenges; this update provides an intuitive tool to help faculty and improve data quality for administrators.
Key Enhancements:
- A clearer, guided design.
- Customizable views for greater flexibility.
- Time-saving features.
Faculty can switch between the new and classic experiences until July 1, 2026, allowing time to get familiar with the updated layout and features.
How to Enable the New Faculty Experience
Administrators may enable the new experience for all faculty between July 31, 2025, and July 1, 2026.
To enable the new experience:
- Submit a General Work Request: Overview of Work Requests.
Note: On July 1, 2026: The new experience will become the standard for all faculty.
A solution for administrators to view the faculty experience from their account is planned for an upcoming release. Follow our Release Notes section to receive updates on feature and enhancement releases.
New Help Center Resources
To support this UI change, we've launched a new Help Center section: Faculty Essentials. This new section will replace the former content listed under the Faculty/Staff Guide. This new section is also tailored for faculty members who are tracking and managing their own activities.
What to Expect from the New Section:
- Updated article layouts.
- Streamlined content.
- A 1:1 relationship with the module layout from the new faculty UI.

Technical Details
As a part of the release of a more customizable faculty experience, the underlying data model for CSV and API endpoints will remain unchanged. Screen Revisions, Full-Service/Self-Service reports, and Manage Data will also be unaffected by this enhancement.
The new faculty experience is only available to accounts without Manage Data or administrative permissions.
