Student Learning & Licensure Release Notes for May 20, 2025

Enhanced Placement Data Extract

This release includes major updates to the Placement Data extract to provide more flexible and streamlined extract. Updates include:

1. Consolidating all placement data on a single row. Placement records will no longer be split into multiple rows if more than one mentor or supervisor is assigned (*see notes about Mentor Details option)
2. Additional filters have been added allowing users to extract data filtered by:
   1. Placement District
   2. Placement Site
   3. Student Name
   4. Mentor Name
3. Columns have been streamlined to only extract fields relevant to placements. Optional data is available to add in the extract including:
   1. Student details - student demographic and program information
   2. Course details - additional details about the course hierarchy, section dates, and activities
   3. Site Details - address, district, and all available NCES data including site demographic information
   4. *Mentor details - details stored about mentors in the Mentor tab
      1. Adding mentor details will split placements into multiple rows if more than one mentor has been assigned so that details stay with the appropriate mentor
