System Administration Release Notes for May 8, 2025

Ability to Delete Sections and Cohorts

Users will now be able to manually delete course sections as well as cohorts in System Administration.

From the main Sections page, a user can click into a course section to open its details page. If a message appears saying that the section cannot be deleted, it means that there is other core data within System Administration that is blocking the delete. Once those connections are cleared, the delete option would become available.

When a user chooses to delete, they are asked to review and acknowledge potential data associations that could be impacted, as seen below.

The deletion of Cohorts is done in the same manner. System Administration will first check for core data associations, and then notify the user of any possible data associations that may be removed. The user would be asked to acknowledge and agree to the deletions.

ADDITIONAL NOTE: We do not recommend deleting a section or cohort immediately after removing/dropping all enrollments for the section/cohort from System Administration. Please allow a few minutes to pass after the enrollment removal/drops so that the downstream products have time to process the enrollment changes before the section deletion is processed.

Front End Enhancements to Primary Organization, Program and Term Pages

We have updated the Organization Main Listing Page by removing the action button. Now, users can click on the Organization, Program, or Term Name to go to a Detail Page. Here, they will be able to:

  • View Details
  • Delete
  • Edit Details

Students Enrolled updated to Count

The "Students Enrolled" column has been updated on the Course Details Page. While it previously displayed as a list, it will now display as a Count.

The list of all students is still available, and can be found and managed by clicking from the Course Page into the Section Details Page.
