Ability for administrators to reset passwords for users
With this release, administrators will be able to reset the passwords for users from their institution.
The ability to reset passwords for other users will only be available to:
- Users who have an SL&L role of administrator.
- Users who are added as root administrators
Administrators will be able to reset passwords for the following users:
- For any users with the SL&L role of external in their institution.
- For any users with the SL&L role of student in their institution.
- If the institution DOES NOT have Watermark Navigator enabled, for any users with the SL&L role of admin or faculty in their institution.
Administrators will be able to reset passwords by following the steps provided below:
- Go to Profiles > ALL PROFILES
- Search for the required user and click on their name
- Click the Generate Temporary Password option for the Password field in the Account Settings area
NOTE: Clicking the Generate Temporary Password option will result in a random password being generated and set for the user, which the administrator can copy and share separately with the user. The user will be prompted to change their password to a value of their choice when they login using the password generated by the administrator.
Issue with Comparative Data Report output for Students with N/A selections for rubric assessments
Fixed an issue that was reported by some institutions where in the Comparative Data Report output displayed an incorrect count of students and displayed a blank view for the drill-down screen.
Upon investigation, it was identified that this occurred in cases where in N/A was selected for at least one of the rubric elements in a completed assessment for a student.
