Bulk Status change for Placement Status

With this release, the field placement coordinators can change the placement statuses in bulk in New Placement Management.

  1. On the placement dashboard, a “BULK STATUS CHANGE” button will be available on the screen.

  2. After clicking on the “BULK STATUS CHANGE” button, a window will be displayed on the screen with “DRAFT” and “SCHEDULED” placements only.

    1. If a current term has no placements with “DRAFT” or “SCHEDULED” statuses, the system will display an empty state message.

  3. A field placement coordinator will be able to multi-select the desired records, for which they would like to change the status in bulk. As soon as the field placement coordinator selects a record the number of selected records gets displayed on the immersive window.

  4. Once, an FPC hits the “NEXT” button, the FPC lands on the second step to select the status.
  5. Using the status drop-down, the FPC can select the desired status to which he/she would like to move the selected placements.

  6. Suppose an FPC selects “DRAFT” or “PUBLISHED” status from the status drop-down, and hits on the “CHANGE STATUS” button. In that case, the system will display a confirmation modal for both statuses. Once the FPC hits the “CHANGE STATUS” button on the confirmation modal, the selected student placements will be updated with the selected status.

  7. If an FPC selects “SCHEDULED” status from the status drop-down, and hits on the “CHANGE STATUS” button. In that case, the system will further display the Schedule Date and Time option, so that the FPC can select the desired date and time for the student placements.

    1. Once an FPC selects the scheduled date and time, a confirmation modal appears on the screen. Once the FPC hits the “CHANGE STATUS” button on the confirmation modal, the selected student placements will be updated with the selected status.
  8. If an FPC tries to change the student placement status to “Publish” for which no placement details are available, then the system will display an error message on step 2.

With this enhancement, you can quickly and easily access the specific project you need, saving valuable time and reducing administrative effort.
