With the summer release of new meeting scheduler, institutions may wish to use this as a guide to the most descriptive naming convention. Most institutions are already following this convention, but some may need to update their listings to accommodate the creation of modality as a distinct field.
With the addition of modality as a field to designate online, in-person, or phone call meeting types, modality information should be removed from Service, Office, and Campus titles.
Each of these fields appear within the new scheduler as a filter to help students select the best slot.
Services and locations are linked together via the Office configuration. Admins will want to verify their association there.
Example titles:
Services listing may be found at: Admin>Meetings>Service Offerings
Offices listing may be found at: Admin>Meetings>Offices
Campus listing may be found at: Admin>Campuses and Buildings>Campuses
A note about Campus:
Avoid editing Campuses from the UI as these are linked to other datafeeds and changes will likely be overwritten
If the campus name you need doesn't exist, simply create a new one
