Assignment submissions, completed quiz attempts, and forum posts in Moodle sync assignment submission dates with SS&E. Journal entries, Turnitin submissions, lessons, questionnaires, and choices do not sync. Watermark updates from Moodle occur every 12 hours for course sections, hourly for enrollments and grades, and every 6 hours for assignments. The following items will count as an assignment submission and sync the assignment submission date with SS&E when entered into Moodle:
- Assignment
- Completed Quiz Attempt
- Forum Discussion Post Creation or Reply by a Student
The following items will NOT count as an assignment submission and will NOT sync the assignment submission date with SS&E when the following items are updated in Moodle:
- Journal Entries by Students
- Turnitin Assignment Submissions
- Lesson
- Questionnaire
- Choice
How often does Watermark receive updates from Moodle?
By default:
- The LMS Course Section Synchronization runs every 12 hours
- The LMS Enrollments (Student Person LMS Id, Current Grades, Assignment Submission Dates, Last Login Dates etc.) Synchronization runs every hour
- The LMS Assignments Synchronization runs every 6 hours
