Course Dependency Report

Now available from your Tools screen in Unified Navigation is the Course Dependency Report.

The Tools page showing a list of curriculum management tools, including Workflows, Form Re-Linker, Catalog Page Properties, Export Courses, and Catalog Rollover. The Course Dependency Report option at the bottom is highlighted.

After launching the new tool, you will be prompted to select a catalog year and catalog.

The Course Dependency Report page showing dropdowns to select the year and catalog, along with 'Show Report' and 'Add to Queue' buttons.

Please be aware of the messaging on the tool. The date retrieval will not be in real-time. This data is refreshed nightly.

Because of this, your selected catalog data may not be available. If you select Show Report and the data is not available, select Add to Queue to ensure your data will be available in 24 hours. When a selected catalog is added to the queue, it is processed overnight to deliver the course dependencies the next day. You only have to add a catalog to the queue once, and you do not need to add it again.  This means that you can receive the nightly processed report daily from that catalog after it has been added to the queue.

If the data is available, after selecting Show Report, you will see a list of all subject codes with the option to drill down to a course. By expanding a course, you can find all dependencies to that course.

The Course Dependency Report page showing selected year and catalog at the top, followed by the generated report. The report displays course groups such as ACCT - Accounting with nested course entries, including reference types and reference paths listed beneath each course.
