Creating Reporting Years and Adding to a Plan

This article explains how administrators create new institutional reporting years and assign those periods to specific assessment plans.

Creating and Assigning New Reporting Years

Reporting years establish the chronological frameworks used for workflows, data collection, and tracking progress across an organization. Administrators manage these terms globally before assigning them to individual plans to ensure consistent institutional data alignment.

Creating a New Reporting Year

  1. Select Admin on the left-hand menu.
  2. Select Configuration Settings.

  3. Select Reporting Years.

  4. Select the Add New Reporting Year icon in the top-right corner.

  5. Enter a descriptive title, select the term type, enter an identifying code, and assign the specific start and end dates. Then click Add.

Adding a Reporting Year to a Plan

  1. Select Plans on the left-hand menu.
  2. Click More Options (the three dots icon) next to the target plan name.
  3. Click Edit Plan Settings.

  4. Click the pencil icon next to Define Reporting Period.
  5. Select the radio button corresponding to the reporting year required for the plan.
  6. Click Save.

  7. Click Finish Editing to finalize the plan configuration.
