Roles and Notifications

The article details roles and notifications in Planning & Self-Study, Program Review, Strategic Plans, and Accreditation Self-Studies. Leads and Administrators are assigned roles based on organizational level, with specific notifications triggered by actions like plan submission or review assignments. Accreditation Self-Studies include Contributors, Administrators, and Assignees with defined viewing and notification privileges linked to their assignments.

In Planning & Self-Study, Program Review, and Strategic Plans there are two roles: Contributors and/or Leads, and Administrators

  • Leads are assigned first as contributors in the People file, then assigned as leads in Planning & Self-Study Organization Management, Plans, or Program Review modules. The level of the organization(s) to which leads are assigned determines their role in the hierarchy and what they can view.
  • Administrators are assigned in the People file and their assigned organization determines what they can view in the hierarchy.

For Accreditation Self-Studies, there are three roles: Contributors, Administrators, and Assignees

  • Contributors are assigned within a particular sub-section of the Self-Study. They can view only the sub-section to which they are assigned.
  • Administrators are assigned in the Overview section of a Self-Study (or they are the creator) and can view the entire Self-Study. All institution level administrators in the system are automatically assigned as Self-Study Administrators when the Self-Study is created, although you can remove them if you choose.
  • Assignees are assigned in the Overview/Manage Evidence section of the Self-Study. They can only view the evidence to which they are assigned and must already be assigned as a Contributor or Administrator to be eligible for an Assignee designation.
