Overview

This article details recent navigation updates and new feature enhancements in Course Evaluation & Surveys (CES). Key updates include new pathways for accessing reports, updated functionality for viewing results by account hierarchy level, and new web-based, on-screen formats for Short Reports, detailed course evaluation reports, and canned reports.

Navigation Updated to Support On-Screen Report Access

The Course Evaluation & Surveys (CES) Results navigation features updated links and pathways that provide direct access to on-screen reports.

  • View Icon: Opens on-screen reports directly within the application without leaving the current page.
  • Export Icon: Downloads the selected report file.

Selecting the By Hierarchy Level tab allows administrators to view and export results at specific levels of the account hierarchy.

Short Report Now Viewable On-Screen

The CES Short Report is now available to view on-screen directly within the application, eliminating the requirement to download a file to review key summary data.

Detailed Course Evaluation Reports Now Available to View On-Screen

Detailed course evaluation reports can now be viewed directly on-screen in an accessible, web-based format. The on-screen detailed report is available from Project Results and Instructor Results — including for General Survey, course evaluations projects, hierarchy-level results, and course section searches — without needing to download a file.

New Feature: On-Screen Canned Reports

Project Results and Instructor Results load directly in the web browser, removing processing delays associated with document generation. These web-based reports comply with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards.
