Ability to Align Targeted Surveys in Bulk
Note: The email notification is only sent if a project has already been deployed.
CES Administrators can now assign Targeted Surveys to multiple courses or organizational levels at once, making the process of assigning multiple Targeted Surveys faster and easier to reach specific student groups.
Bulk Assignment of Targeted Surveys
- Access this feature on the "Survey" tab of a project, where Targeted Surveys are normally assigned. Select the "Data Import" button located under the Targeted Surveys section.
Downloadable Template for Bulk Import and User-Friendly Import Experience
- Download a ready-to-use template from the user interface by selecting "Data Import" and choosing either "Import to Hierarchy Levels" or "Import to Courses", then click "download the file template" on the next screen. Using this template helps ensure your data is formatted correctly before uploading, reducing errors and setup time.
- Follow the step-by-step guidance provided on the new import page, featuring clear options for importing directly to courses or hierarchy levels.
Improved Error Handling and Validation
- Review uploaded files automatically: The system checks for correct formatting, required information, and file size, providing clear error messages if anything needs to be fixed.
- Process valid data reliably: Only correctly formatted data is processed, ensuring that survey assignments remain accurate.
- Utilize helpful UI controls: Use the "Done" button to exit the import workflow, and review the summary showing how many files have been successfully imported.
Instant Notifications
- Receive automatic updates: Once your bulk assignment is complete, you’ll receive both an on-screen notification and an email with key details to confirm the status of your import.
- Review notification details: The notification email includes useful information such as the survey name, the number of assignments, and who performed the import.
Display of Assigned Surveys
- View assigned surveys immediately: After a successful import, newly assigned surveys appear right away in the system so you can confirm updates. Larger files may take slightly longer to process, requiring a screen refresh to view updates.
