Outcome Measure Breakdown

A toggle provides a detailed breakdown of outcomes by their associated measures.

  1. Activate Breakdown: A toggle is available to see outcomes broken down by their associated measures.
    • This toggle automatically turns off if no outcomes are selected.
  2. View Real-Time Data: Charts and breakdowns update instantly when measure statuses change, or if outcomes or measures are removed or deselected.

How Measures Display

For each selected outcome, measures are displayed in a structured format:

  • Grouping: Measures are grouped by their Assessment Plan.
  • Status Charts: Status charts show outcomes categorized as: Met, Not Met, Partially Met, Not Applicable, and Unspecified.
  • Overall Status: The Overall Outcome Status is displayed next to each plan.
  • No Measures Message: If no measures exist for an outcome within a plan, a "No measures exist" message will appear.
  • Not Assessed Message: If an outcome was not assessed in a plan, the message "This outcome wasn't assessed in this plan" will appear.

Measure Results Display

Administrators can view all measures created for a selected outcome across all assessment plans where the outcome has been assessed.

  • Click Measure Results<>

Each card displays the method, source, results counts for exceeded, met, not met, and approached, along with the overall status at the bottom.
  • Measure Information: Each plan displays the outcome status and corresponding measures, including the Measure Title and Measure Method (with both method name and type—Direct or Indirect).
  • Result Visibility: Result sources (e.g., SLL, LMS Canvas, Blackboard, and D2L, etc.) are shown for each measure. The Overall status will also be available for each measure (or Unspecified if not added by the user).
  • View More Details Option: Users have the option to view more details about a specific measure, including its target, description, organization, and analysis.

Aggregate Chart in Outcome Performance Dashboard

The aggregate chart feature provides a comprehensive, data-driven view of outcome performance. This chart consolidates measure results from multiple assessment plans to help users quickly understand overall performance trends for each outcome.

*The aggregate chart is available only to clients using an Advanced LMS Integration.

Unified Outcome View: The chart displays total counts for all result categories (e.g., Met, Not Met, Approached, Exceeded) across all measures associated with a given outcome, spanning all assessment plans where the outcome has been assessed.

Included Result Sources: The aggregate chart incorporates results from Advanced and old LMS integrations, internal integrations (Student Learning & Licensure, Course Evaluations & Surveys, and Outcomes Assessment Projects), and individually entered counts by contributors.

Send Email Option: It includes categories into which scores fall (e.g., Met, Not Met) from the Send Email option.

Excluded Result Sources: The following sources are excluded: the Send Email option using the average of all scores and Upload results and write a summary.

Dynamic Category Display: If only "Met" and "Not Met" results exist across all measures, only these two categories are displayed. If any measure includes additional categories (e.g., Approached, Exceeded), all such categories are included in the chart.

Dynamic Updates: The aggregate chart automatically updates to reflect any changes in the underlying data or result sources, ensuring real-time accuracy.
