Outcome Performance Dashboard
In this release, we are introducing the Outcome Performance Dashboard. This dashboard will provide a clearer, more interactive view of the Learning and Success Outcomes. This dashboard is located under Organization Management, within an organization or course's In Progress tab.
Dashboard Overview
All Outcomes Visible: Both current and archived outcomes are clearly displayed, matching the order on the Manage Outcomes page.
Pre-selection Logic: If only Learning Outcomes exist, all are pre-selected. If only Success Outcomes exist, all are pre-selected. If both exist, only Learning Outcomes are pre-selected.
Conditional Visibility: The Learning Outcomes accordion is hidden when none exist. The Success Outcomes accordion is hidden when none exist. If neither outcome type is present, an empty state message displays.
Outcome Measure Breakdown
New Toggle: See outcomes broken down by their associated measures with a new toggle. It turns off if no outcomes are selected.
Real-Time Data: Charts and breakdowns update instantly when measures change status, or if outcomes/measures are removed or deselected.
How Measures Show Up
For each selected outcome:
- Grouped by Assessment Plan.
- Status charts show: Met, Not Met, Partially Met, Not Applicable, and Unspecified.
- Overall Outcome Status is displayed next to each plan.
- If no measure exist for an outcome in a plan, a message "No measures exist" will appear.
- If the outcome wasn't assessed, the message "This outcome wasn't assessed in this plan" will appear.
Assessment Plans at a Glance
- Plan Visibility Based on Org Type: Organizations see Program Assessment Plans; Courses see Course Assessment Plans.
- Sorted by Status: Plans are organized by Future, Current, and Past.
- Plan Info Display: Each plan row shows its title, Outcome Status, and the total count of plans.
- All Statuses Covered: Includes Met, Not Met, Partially Met, Not Applicable, Unspecified, and N/A.
- Pagination controls (as shown below) are available for navigation through long lists of assessment plans.
PDF Export of Comparative Reports (Canvas & D2L Integrations)
We've added a new way to get comparison data for Canvas and D2L users. Now, a PDF report can be downloaded with all the details, charts, and analysis in one place.
What's new:
Download Results button: Look for the new Download Results button. Click it to start generating a report.
Once clicked, a message will appear: "Your report will download automatically when ready."
- Comprehensive PDF: The PDF report includes:
- Comparison charts
- Aggregate charts
- Analysis and actions
- Plan titles, organization names, and outcome measures
This update makes it easier to get focused comparison reports in PDF format.
