Reviews Inbox and History Table

Overview

The Inbox and History tables in Faculty Success give you a central place to track and manage your review submissions. This article describes what information appears in each table, how to identify submissions that require action, and how to access completed or in-progress submissions.

Navigating the Inbox and History Tables

The Inbox and History tables contain all submissions associated with your review processes.

Inbox Table

Submissions that require your action appear in the Inbox table. Each row includes the following information:

  • Process Name: The title of the schedule the submission is associated with.
  • Step: The step the submission is currently on.
  • Candidate: The name of the individual under review.
  • Due Date: The due date for the current step.
  • Date Received: The date the submission arrived in your Inbox for the current step.

Committee Consensus Summary

If you are a Committee Chair, you can view an additional consensus summary across your active submissions from the Submissions by Consensus view in Inbox. Each submission is categorized with a High, Medium, or Low indicator based on committee member responses to rating scale and dropdown fields.

History Table

Submissions you have completed, or that have moved to a different step in the process, appear in the History table. You can click into any submission to review its progress, including results and comments from steps you are authorized to view. The submission opens as a read-only document showing all completed steps in order, with your initial submission at the top and the most recently completed step at the bottom.

Each row in the History table includes the following information:

  • Name: The title of the schedule the submission is associated with.
  • Current Step: The name of the step the process is currently on.
  • Candidate: The name of the individual under review.
  • Due Date: The due date for the current step.
  • Actions: Available options for the submission, such as recalling it or downloading its contents. Select the downward-facing arrow in this column to view and choose from the available actions. For more information, see Using the History Table to Access Review History or Recall a Submission.

Your History table also includes in-progress submissions for any candidates you have already reviewed. These submissions will no longer appear once the review process is complete.
