For information on downloading multiple submissions at once, refer to the following help article, Downloading Submissions in Bulk.
Availability of this Feature
The ability for users (candidates and reviewers) to download materials is determined by your institution. Contact your campus administration team if you have any questions or concerns regarding the availability of this feature.
Downloading a Submission
The download option is accessible from the following locations within the Reviews module:
-
When viewing a submission, select the Download button in the upper-right corner.
-
From the History table, select the arrow in the Actions column and select Download.
-
From the Submissions Table, navigate to the Actions column and select Download.
Note: Most faculty will not have access to the submissions table. This access is typically reserved for department chairs, deans, and administration.
Download Formats
Upon initiating a submission download, the prompt that appears will require selection of one of the download formats below.
Download submission for online viewing
This option downloads an HTML file that replicates the online view of the submission.
- This format is best suited for reviewers who do not need access to uploaded files, as it reduces download size significantly.
Note: To view or download the attached documents via the HTML file, an active Faculty Success session is required.
Download submission with files to my computer
This option downloads a single .zip file containing:
- An HTML file that replicates the online view of the submission.
- A sub-folder for each step, containing reports and file attachments from that step. The folder sequence begins with the candidate's initial step, named Step00.
- Viewing attachments in the sub-folders does not require an active Faculty Success session.
Note: To access files hyperlinked within a downloaded report, an active Faculty Success session is required.
