Preparing for Reviews

Overview

The Workflow module in Faculty Success manages institutional review processes such as annual reviews, promotions, and tenure evaluations. Users assigned as Candidates, Administrative Reviewers, Committee Members, or Committee Chairs manage these tasks through the module. This article covers how to navigate the Workflow module.

Accessing the Reviews Menu Item

To access a review process, navigate to the Reviews item in the left-hand side menu. This page will include two primary tables: Inbox and History.

  • Inbox: The Inbox table displays any pending items that require your attention. Depending on your assigned role, this may include tasks such as reviewing a candidate's submission, adding a comment or uploading your review materials.
  • History: The History table contains any review processes that are either in-progress or already completed. Use this table to view the status of reviews you've participated in or to revisit previously submitted materials.

Downloading Review Materials

If you prefer to review the contents of a review process offline or need to retain a local copy of it, the Workflow Module allows you to download the contents of a review process. For guided steps on how to do this, refer to How to Download the Contents of a Submission.
