Application Template Creation
Administrators will see an Applications tab/area and an Application Templates tab/area upon clicking the Program Applications side navigation. Click the Applications Templates tab to create an application template.

Clicking the Create Template button will open the template creation page, where the Template can be given a title and a hierarchy node/organizational node can be selected. The users associated with the selected node would be able to access the application. They can either Save the template as Draft or can continue creating the template by adding components to it.
Create template page
Components are the various form entries they can add to the template. Clicking the Insert Component button will open a side panel with all the different components that can be added to the application template to be filled out by the students.

Resource Content: Resource Content contains the list of the components which the template creator can choose to add while creating the templates. They can add information/guidelines through these components that the students can refer while completing the application.
- Section Header: The template creator can choose to add a header text for the application.

Text: The template creator can add help or informational text for the students to refer to while completing the application

Link: The template creator can add links for students to refer to while completing the application.

Attachments: The template creator can attach files for students to download and refer. They can upload a maximum of 5 files and the maximum file size of a single attachment is 20MB.

Student Input Components: Student Input contains the list of components which the template creator can choose to add while creating the templates. Student users provide their responses through these while completing an application.

Small Text Field: The template creator can add a small text area for the students to fill out. The character limit for the small text field is 300 characters.

Large Text Area: The template creator can add a large text area for the students to fill out. The word limit for the large text area is 500 words.
- Link: The template creator can add a link field for the students. Students can add reference links while completing the application.
- File Upload: They can add file type components for students so that they can upload supporting documents. They can upload a maximum of 5 files and the maximum file size of a single attachment is 50MB.
- Dropdown: They can add a drop down type field with options. Students can choose the appropriate option from the drop down. The drop-down component can have a maximum of 20 options.
- Multiselect Checkboxes: They can add multiselect checkboxes for the students. The checkbox component can have a maximum of 20 options.

Acknowledgement Checkbox: They can choose to add an acknowledgement checkbox that the students can check off while submitting the application
Template creators can choose to edit (using the edit/pencil icon) as well as delete/remove (using the bin icon) components they have added to an application. They can also choose to add new components to the application (using the plus icon).
Template creators can preview the template by clicking the Preview Template link next to the Organization drop down.
Template creators can choose to save the template by clicking the Save as Draft button or can choose to directly publish the template. To publish a template, the template should have at least one component.
Hitting the Publish button displays a confirmation dialogue.
Template creators can choose to simply publish the template and distribute later or can choose to use the Publish & Distribute Now button to start distributing the application right away. Template creators are directed to the Application Distribution page upon clicking the Publish & Distribute Now button where they can see the organization and template drop down pre-populated with values.
An existing template can be edited/updated and the edits/updates to the template can be saved. Every time updates/edits to a template are saved, the date and time stamp for the template, under the column ‘Last Updated’, gets updated.
