Assigning Leads to Courses

Overview

Leads manage assessment data and outcomes for assigned courses. Administrators assign Lead roles through Organization Management. This article outlines the steps for assigning the Lead role to a course and details how Leads access assigned courses.

Note: Administrators can assign a maximum of five Leads to a single course.

Assigning Course Leads

Administrators assign users as Leads using the administrative navigation menu:

  • Select Organization Management from the left navigation bar to display accessible organizations.
  • Select a program within the Organization Management area, then select Curriculum.

  • Locate the desired course under the Course List column.
  • Select Assign Lead in the rightmost column to select an assessment lead.

  • Select an existing lead's name to modify the list or add additional leads.
  • Search for institutional users in the pop-up window, select a user's name to add them as a lead, and select Apply.

  • Select the X icon next to a user's name to remove a lead, then select Apply to save changes.

Accessing Assigned Courses as a Lead

When a Lead logs into their account, assigned courses display under the My Leadership section.

Leads begin entering assessment data for a course by selecting Enter Course. If an assessment plan already exists for the course, the plan displays under the In Progress tab after entering the course.

  • Select Course Information to manage course outcomes.
