Overview
This article provides instructions for students on how to access Student Learning & Licensure through three primary methods: a Learning Management System (LMS), Single Sign-On (SSO), or direct login. It includes step-by-step procedures for each method, troubleshooting tips for common login errors, and a guide for first-time users to reset their temporary passwords and accept the End-User License Agreement.
There are three ways for students to access or log in to Student Learning & Licensure:
- Access through your institution’s Learning Management System (LMS), if enabled.
- Access through a Single Sign On (SSO), if enabled through your institution.
- Access directly at sll.watermarkinsights.com
If you are unsure how to login, please contact your institution's Student Learning & Licensure administrator.
Accessing via Learning Management System (LMS)
- Access your institution's LMS.
- Click on the Assignment or Activity you need to complete.
- This will link you directly to your Student Learning & Licensure account.
Tip:
After clicking the link in the portal, if you are prompted to enter a username and password:
- Enter your institution email and Student Learning & Licensure password.
- If you do not know your password, refer to the article How to Reset Your Password for detailed steps.
Note: Password reset emails are sent from no-reply@watermarkinsights.com.
If you see messages such as "This assignment does not exist" or "Resource not found," please contact your instructor or Watermark Administrator.
Accessing via Single Sign On (SSO)
- Click the Student Learning & Licensure link on your institution’s menu or home page.
- Log in using your institutional Username and Password.
Note: If you are unable to sign in, please contact your university's IT helpdesk.
Accessing Directly via URL
- Navigate to sll.watermarkinsights.com using a recommended browser like Google Chrome or Firefox.
- Enter your institutional Email Address and Password.

If this is your first time logging in:
- Use the temporary password provided by your institution.
- If forgotten, click Forgot Password? to reset it.

Review and accept the End-User License Agreement. This is a one-time requirement.

Create a new password by entering your Temporary Password and then your New Password.
Important:
- Passwords must be at least 12 characters.
- Use a mix of uppercase and lowercase letters.
- Include at least one number.
- Once submitted, you will be directed to your Progress page.
