Configuring the Contact Us Form

The Contact Us form in Faculty Success can be configured to better align with institutional processes and provide targeted instructions to users. This article outlines the available options and how to request them.

Note: Configuration changes to the Contact Us form must be submitted through a General Work Request.

Getting Started

To begin the configuration process, submit a General Work Request with the details for the desired changes. Options are limited to the following:

  • Email Override: The designated email address to receive all user communications.
  • Instructional Text: Additional information or links to campus resources to assist users completing the form.
  • Response Message: The pop-up modal which appears after the Contact Us form is successfully submitted.

Once applied, changes will impact the Contact Us resource located in the Faculty Success help resources menu.

Override Email Address

By default, submissions from the Contact Us form are sent to your institution's first listed administrator (alphabetically by name). This destination can be changed to a different email address, such as a specific help desk or support team inbox.

  • Provide the email address (e.g., facultysupport@youruniversity.edu) that will receive all submissions from the form.
  • Once applied, the Contact Us form will no longer list the option to contact Watermark's Support Team.

Additional Instructional Text

Add instructional text or hyperlinks to the top of the Contact Us form. This is useful for directing users to other resources or providing specific guidance before they submit a request.

Confirmation Pop-Up Response

Modify the confirmation message that appears after a user successfully submits the Contact Us form. The default message is: "Watermark Support has received your inquiry and will respond within one business day."

This can be updated to provide more specific information, such as setting expectations for a response time.

Note: Custom text for this modal is only available if you have implemented the override email address.
