How does a faculty member register a LiveText account?

Faculty must register their accounts on www.livetext.com using a faculty keycode. There are two types of faculty keycodes:

  • 7 digit legacy keycode: this is a single keycode that can be used to register any number of faculty accounts. To locate this keycode: log into your LiveText administrator account, click Admin, click Keys, then click View legacy faculty domain keys
  • 18 digit keycode: this is a unique keycode that assigned to an individual faculty member through Keycode Management. When a keycode is assigned, the faculty member will receive an email with a link to the registration page (their assigned keycode will automatically be entered into the registration form). How do I make changes to a locked rubric?

A rubric becomes locked once it has been used in a course or Field Experience assessment. To make changes to a locked rubric you must create a copy of the LiveText Document: go to LiveText Docs, click on the title of the original document, click the "Copy this document" button (paper icon) at the top of the document, enter a title for the copy, and click Ok. The new copy will then open and you can edit the rubric section and make any changes.
